Subkinetic is a newly created company based in Bali, Indonesia. Having worked in the diving industry for many years the founders decided to move on and create a unique underwater shooting/film company for everyone’s needs.

We are currently active in wildlife filming for documentaries, TV commercials, non-governmental organizations and the tourism industry including liveaboards, resorts, dive centers and personal filming .

We chose Bali for its strategic location in South East Asia giving us direct access to the most abundant reefs on earth. Bali itself is home to a rich biodiversity and offers stunning muck diving, fringing reefs, deep walls and great drifts with pelagic fishes such as mola mola (sun fish), manta rays and sharks. This is what makes Bali one of the top dive destination for everyone.

Who are we?

David Duchatelet, Director, passionate about images and diving instructor. David has dived more than 3,500 times worldwide during the past 12 years. He has worked in the diving Industry in Mauritius, Madagascar, New Caledonia, Indonesia and Belgium, his native country. David is totally dedicated to Subkitenic, with the conviction that image is an essential communication tool in terms of environmental education and conservation. He loves to create Sound & Image cocktails, a perfect combination for the amazement of all!

Marie Buckinx, Commissars and shareholder she is totally passionate about underwater fauna and flora with over 600 dives worldwide. She is responsible for the administration and communication.

Komang Ariel G. Saputra, Webmaster of Subkinetic, Komang has a strong knowledge of networking and manages our website. In addition to his work with us, Komang is running his own company called Bali Web Design Studio.
